WHY Do We Count?
“For each person uncounted, the City and organizations miss out on about $2,000 worth of funding each year until the next Census. That’s 10 years from now. $20,000, each uncounted person over a 10-year-span.”
Every Citizen Counts
Participates in the development of strategic plans that will be used to ensure all local communities are aware and supportive of the 2020 Census.
Subcommittees engage the community, share information about the Census and encourage participation. They also assist in the development of the RVA Counts 2020 strategic plan
The Ambassadors will be connecting with the population on a more personal level, and sharing information about the upcoming 2020 Census.
